On May 9, 1985, Albania issued two stamps on the occasion of the end of World War II., phrased "40th Anniversary of the Victory over Fascism". On the 80 q(intarkë) stamp, the country name was imprinted as "SHQIEPRISE" instead of the correct "SHQIPERISE". The stamps were therefore apparently withdrawn. The circulation was 1370 stamp sets.
