Argentina issued a map stamp in 1936 with border lines of South America. Its own territory was highlighted. Both Peru (Ecuador border lines) and Chile (Argentina border lines) protested. Chile in particular felt that its southern territory was unfavorably reflected, parts wrongly assigned to Argentina. Argentina withdrew the stamp and re-issued, correcting the Argentina territory accordingly and removing all else border line drawings.
