Reconciliation

On 11th and 12th July 1986, the three Presidents of Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia met for a reconciliation conference. Guinea commemorated this event with image identical stamps issued in 1987. Guinea’s President, Lansana Conté, did not agree with his physiognomic likeness on the stamps, middle person on the stamps. Thus the originally printed stamps remained unissued and “corrected”  stamps were issued.
