Dag Hammarskjold
On October 23, 1962 the USA issued a stamp in honor of former UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold (1905 - 1961). When the stamps were produced, a few sheets were printed with inverted yellow ink. In order not to create a rare stamp, the U.S. Postal Administration decided to reprint the stamp with yellow inversion. This was issued on November 16, 1962.
