The Netherlands issued a series of stamps on July 15, 2006, commemorating the 400th Birthday of painter Rembrandt. The stamps featured paintings of Rembrandt. In addition a booklet was issued with some of the stamps contained as panes in sheetlet form. As a particular item one additional pane contained a reprint of the German stamp issued for the same occasion on July 13, 2006.

Scott stamp catalogue claims that the booklet had been withdrawn due to the fact that the German Post had not given consent to the booklet’s reprint of its stamp. According to Michel stamp catalogue the German stamp in the booklet is considered a cinderella, although both postal authorities did in fact agree on this reprint. The booklet was therefore never withdrawn.
