Between September 17, 1971,  and January 1, 1976, Guyana issued definitive stamps featuring domestic flowers. The 25c face-value stamp pictured a Marabunta tree with the flowers of the tree directed downwards. But the tree's flowers actually point upwards. Therefore a corrected stamp was issued on August 20, 1973. Both stamps exist with later applied overprints also.
