150 Years Ireland Railway

In order to commemorate 150 years of the first train running in Ireland, the Irish Transport Provider CIÉ  (Córas Iompair Éireann) issued a stamp vignette in 1984. Since the vignette did conflict with the rules of the Irish Post, it was withdrawn one day after issue. A corrected stamp was then issued with a print on the stamp reading „Táille Iompaire CIE“ (Transport fare CIE).
