On November, 23, 2011, Croatia issued a stamp on the occasion of the victory of Croatian Ivica Kostelić in the Ski World Cup 2010/11. The stamp was issued in a miniature sheet of 9 stamps and a vignette at the top left. Already on November 25, 2011, the miniature sheet was withdrawn due to protests of the Croatian Ski Federation.

The problem was a copyright infringement, as the image of Kostelić in the vignette was missing a sponsor logo on his headband, which had obviously been omitted for the image on the stamp. The stamps valid for postage, on the other hand, were not a problem.
