On September 15, 2006, Kazakstan issued a stamp commemorating the 3rd Meeting of the ECO (Economic Cooperation Organisation) postal authorities. On the right side of the stamp, in vertical orientation, Istanbul (Kazakh: Ыстамбұл) was imprinted as venue location. However, the meeting was held in Ankara (Kazakh:  Анкара). The stamp was therefore withdrawn and re-issued on September 22, 2006, with the Kazakh word for Istanbul overprinted to make it invisible. On the middle right of the stamp the Kazakh word for Ankara was imprinted instead.
