First Conference of Women Parliamentarians from Islamic Countries
On the occasion of the 1st Conference of Women Parliamentarians from Islamic Countries in Islamabad, August 1-3, 1995, Pakistan planned a se-tenant issue with three participants on August 1, 1995. These were Mothama Benazir Bhutto (Pakistan, 1953 -2007), Prof. Dr. Tansu Çiller (Turkey) and Begum Khalida Zia (Bangladesh). Imperforated proofs had already been printed when Begum Khalida Zia cancelled her participation. As a result, the se-tenant was issued with only two stamps.
