On May 8, 2020, two stamps were issued by North Macedonia on the theme “Macedonia into the European Union". One of the stamps was dedicated to Zagreb and showed on the left side of the stamp, next to the indicated Macedonian flag, a map of Croatia. However, this was within the borders of "Greater Croatia" during the 2nd World War. Due to protests from Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro, the stamp was with-drawn on the day of issue.
