Picture Postcards

In 1939, a series of picture postcards with cityscapes and landscapes, each with German and Czech inscriptions, were issued in the "Protectorate" of Bohemia and Moravia. Two of the picture postcards were withdrawn from sale after a short time. On one of the cards, the caption read "An der Sazawa” (At the Sazawa shores), but should actually have read "Sasau", on the other card it read "Böhmisch Budweis” (Bohemian Budweis), but "Budweis" had been planned.
