Ships II

Between February 28, 2005 and March 14, 2005 there was a trademark law dispute between the private pos-tal service provider “RIDAS” and the German Post. Subject of this dispute was the use of the word “POST” on the stamps of RIDAS in the phrase “RIDAS-POST”. In consequence the word “POST” was struck through manually. The following contemporary stamp sets were affected: “Ships”, “Ships additional values”, “70 years Book Burning”.
