Christmas 2001 joint issue Spain Germany

 

 

 

On November 8, 2001, Spain and Germany released a joint issue in the form of a Christmas sheetlet. The sheetlet was identical in both countries and included 2x2 stamps with the same cliche only to be distinguished through country name and face value. The stamps of the respective other country were not valid for postage. In Germany the sheetlet could only be bought from the philatelic service (Price: 310 Pf / 159 Cent) or from stationary philatelic bureaus (Price: 445 Pf / 228 Cents). In Spain also they could be bought through philatelic service (Price: 115 Pta / 69 Cent) or through other postal offices (Price: 293 Pta / 176 Cents).
