World Stamp Expo '89
On November 17, 1989, the Philippines issued a stamp set commemorating the World Stamp Expo 1989 in Washington DC, USA. The stamp with 1 Piso face value featured, amongst others, the first Philippine stamp of 1854 with Queen Isabella II. The stamp shown was perforated, but in reality the stamp is imperforated. Due to the error, the stamp set was withdrawn within one week.
