Concentration Camp Survivors

Poland issued a stamp set in 2009 commemorating Polish surviving inmates of WW II concentration camps. One of the stamps was dedicated to the Polish Professor Józef Wladyslav Wolski. He was arrested in 1941 and sent to Sachsenhausen concentration camp. The postage stamp however showed the name as Wladyslaw Wolski. The stamps were withdrawn and replaced by a corrected stamp set with the full name Józef Wladyslaw Wolski.
