On July 31, 1998, Namibia issued an entire envelope for domestic mail in several variations. The issue was withdrawn on the day of issue, after it was noticed, that the face value imprint missed the wording “Inland mail only”. Only about 100 items were sold. The remainder of the issue was overprinted with the missing “inland mail only” and re-issued on September 22, 1998.
