At the beginning of 2009, Namibia planned to issue an entire envelope with an imprint commemorating 100 years of the “Monument for Marines” in Swakopmund. The imprint included a logo of the Nampost as well as an icon of the city arms of Swakopmund. The entire envelope was withdrawn prior to the issue date for unknown reasons and therefore classifies as a non-issued item.

Shortly after (January 27, 2009) was the monument imprint used on a limited edition (500) of a follow-up entire envelope. The imprint here differs from the original imprint on the non-issued edition through the absence of the Nampost logo.
The postally used, non-issued entire shown is an irregularity in that it was not valid for postage.
