On October 24, 1973, KUT (Kenya Uganda Tanzania, former British East Africa) issued 4 stamps commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Interpol. The 2.50 Shilling face value stamp had the then Interpol head quarters in St. Cloud (a Paris suburb) represented. The stamp however had “St Clans” imprinted. A corrected stamp was issued on February 25, 1974. The erroneous start was not withdrawn.
